Gourmet Popcorn and Rolled Ice Cream Downtown
As soon as I walked onto downtown Saint Joseph, I noticed it’s cute atmosphere for local businesses in a historical building.
One of the cute looking shops is Eclipz Gourmet Popcorn and Ice Cream. This store is located on Felix Street across from the Coleman Hawkins Park/Felix Street Square.
As soon as I walked on the entrance after opening the door, I could feel the happy, lighthearted spirit with the fresh smell of popcorn. Once I walked in, an employee greeted me with a smile. The whole store is decorated for Christmas. To me, it seemed like the employees were able to surround the whole store with Christmas spirit.
In the middle of the room is a sample station filled with different flavored popcorn that Eclipz Gourmet Popcorn offers. The employee encouraged me to try to find out which one I wanted. Personally, the best one is the birthday cake or caramel apple popcorn.
I found out I can bulk order for special events like weddings, baby showers, graduation parties, or any other event what one would love popcorn. Also, the company is offering a popcorn fundraiser to for a team or club. This is a great fundraiser for the Communication Club at Missouri Western.
Another part of the business is selling ice cream. I love the caramel apple ice cream. For the ice cream, the company offers is one that has the highest milk fat content able to serve to customers. This ice cream is made locally in Missouri. When I buy the ice cream, I will not only be supporting one local business, but I will be supporting two local businesses in Missouri.
Recently, Eclipz Gourmet Popcorn has begun offering rolled ice cream. The store creates their own ice cream based for this product. I watched how it was created the last time I was in. This is a work of art and taste great. I had the caramel apple popcorn flavor. I enjoyed every minute of watching my treat being made.
This is a wonderful business to support in Downtown Saint Joseph. I love the atmosphere and the product. So if you are every that way, you should try out Eclipz Gourmet Popcorn and Ice Cream. I am sure you will love it like I do.
